Answers from Lockd Self Storage

How do we enter the site?

On your move-in day, you’ll receive an email with your personal PIN code to access the site, along with a text message linking to the PTI Store iD app on the Apple App Store or Google Play. Download the app, enter your PIN, and you’ll be granted access. When you’re near the gates or roller doors, they will appear in the app — just swipe to open. We use PTI’s Store iD app and StorLogix Cloud to make entry easy and secure.

Do you have a phone app?

Yes, we do have an app!

StorID

Lockd Future Self Storage uses the StorID app to give you easy and secure access to doors, gates, and smart locks at our facility.

Install the StorID app from the App Store or Google Play

Follow the link above

Enter your access code (provided by our team)

Set your email and password

Accept the terms and you’re all set!

What are the access hours?

The main indoor facility is open from 6am to 9pm daily. External units can have 24-hour access. These hours are designed to keep the site secure while offering flexibility where needed.

Can I cancel my move-in date?

Yes, you can cancel your move-in anytime up to 24 hours before your scheduled date. Just log into your account to manage your booking.

Is there someone on site to help me?

While we don’t have staff permanently on site, we’re frequently there throughout the day. Our team is based nearby on Hedon Road and can be on site within minutes if needed. Just give us a call!

Can I arrange a viewing?

Yes, you can! Just contact us to book a time, and we’ll be happy to meet you on site for a viewing.

Do I need insurance?

Yes, to keep your belongings fully protected, insurance is required while storing with us. Don’t worry – it’s simple! Just select the value of your items during booking, and we’ll add the cover to your plan. Prices start from as little as £1 per week.

What unit size do I need?

It depends on what you’re storing, but we offer a range of unit sizes to suit everything from a few boxes to the contents of a full house. Contact us if you’re unsure — we’re happy to help you choose.

How long can I store for?

You can store with us for as long as you like, from a minimum of one week. Your storage contract will continue until you give us notice and clear the storage room

Can I pre book?

Yes absolutely! you can pre-book online to guarantee your space and access when you need it.

Do you really price match self storage in Hull?

If you price match, will I be getting the same level of storage?

No — and that’s the point. When we match a price, you’re not getting the same storage experience. Lockd offers modern, purpose-built self storage with clean, secure facilities and local on-site support. In many cases, customers are paying the same price elsewhere for a more basic setup.
