From day one, they were impressed with our ultra-modern, clean and well-designed facility. With on-site car parking spaces available to rent and outdoor storage containers as alternatives, we’re able to meet a wide range of storage needs.
Seamless Access with the Lockd App
The feature that really stood out was our dedicated app. It allows customers to access the facility and their unit securely without keys or padlocks. A unique access code is automatically created for each customer, and for those who prefer, the code can be used instead of the app.
Our KeyShare feature also impressed them. It lets you share digital access with friends, family members or removal companies for as long as you like — from a single day to a permanent arrangement — all managed easily in the app.
Smooth Booking & Friendly Support
The customer highlighted how simple it was to book and move in online: they received their unit number, access details and instructions within an hour and could start moving items immediately.
When they weren’t sure what size unit they needed, our team met them on-site to show them options and answer questions. They described our staff as “pleasant, polite and very professional.”

” I’ve been thoroughly impressed with this storage facility from day 1. It’s ultra-modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The standout feature for me is the dedicated app, which allows seamless access to the facility without needing keys or codes — incredibly convenient and secure app. A unique acces code is created soley for you to gain access to the site and into the facility if you did not want to use the app. The app is required to get you into your storage unit so please bare this in mind.No padlock needed so no extra keys or combinations to remember. On the app it also has a feature called keyshare and you can share your access code with a friend or family member or even a removal company. All they need is the App and you add them via the keyshare. This is ideal if you’re away and someone needs something from the unit or for example you are moving and storing your belongings, you just give the removal firm the keyshare and they can come and go as you see fit. You can add someone permanently or for a set time period from a day onwards which is impressive.
The entire process, from booking to move-in, was smooth and user-friendly. Staff were helpful when I had questions and could not do enough for me, but honestly, the technology makes most of it self-service. I will also say knowing someone is on hand to help via a quick phone call is great and when ive rang they are always pleasant, polite and very professional.
Another major plus is the availability of on-site car park spaces for rent. It’s ideal if you need extra parking or storing a vehicle.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a secure, high-tech storage solution with excellent added features. Can I just add that my first unit was all done via the website I was sent the storage unit number, access code plus any other relevant details all within an hour and I started moving items in straightaway. The second time I was unsure what size unit I wanted and when I rang they said they could meet me on site to show me some sizes and alternatives as they also have storage containers outside. I was met on site by one of the owners who made me feel at ease, nothing was too much trouble and he had time for all my questions. This is a very well run established business and I’m sure within time it won’t be their only one in or around Hull as their logo states its the future of self storage. Thank you to all at Lockd for all your help and keeping my belongings safe and secure. ”
